Shikarpur operation: Sindh govt decides to take help from rangers, army
SHIKARPUR (Dunya News) - Provincial Minister Shabbir Bijarani has said that Sindh government has decided to seek help from Rangers and Army in the operation against dacoits in Shikarpur.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had ordered IG Sindh to launch an operation in Shikarpur.
During the raid in Karachi led by SSP Shikarpur Amir Saud Magsi, eight persons including accused Sardar Tegho Khan Tighai and his two sons were arrested. The accused was sponsoring other crimes including kidnapping for ransom and murder.
The suspect was receiving monthly extortion money from the dacoits of Kacha and was never been arrested in the past while several cases were registered in different police stations of Sindh against him.
On the other hand, senior officers have started monitoring the operation from Kacha. DIG Larkana Nasir Aftab has set up a temporary office in the area.
DIG Larkana Nasir Aftab said that operations are underway at the hideouts of criminals in Kacha and modern technology is being used to arrest more accused.
