CM Shehbaz takes notice as kite string injures resident in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday has taken notice of the incident in which, a resident got severely injured due to kite string in Rawalpindi.

According to details, the minister has suspended Superintendent of Police (SP), deputy SP city and Station House Officer (SHO) while a report has also been sought from the local administration.

Earlier, police personnel had arrested more than 200 kite flyers during raid in Faisalabad.

The officers had also lodged a case against the detainees and also recovered kites and strings from them. They said that the suspects will be presented in magistrate courts.

The provincial authorities said that no one will be allowed to fly kites in the metropolis and also asked the parents to keep their children away from this deadly game.
