Sources told the terrorists wanted to target security forces in a terror attack

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Counter Terrorism Force has conducted intelligence operation in the provincial capital and arrested two alleged terrorists on Monday who wanted to carry out a terror attack on security forces.

Sources told the latest anti-terrorism operation was conducted near Kamaha Interchange Ring Road. The accused terrorists belong to Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and named Muhammad Nazeer and Mumtaz Khan.

The arrested terrorists have been transferred to an unknown location. A number of grenades and explosives were recovered from them, apart from other cache of weapons.

After the initial interrogation, the terrorists revealed that they had planned to target security forces in a terror attack.
