Dacoits flee after looting money from private bank in Khanewal
Police personnel launched an investigation into the matter.
KHANEWAL (Dunya News) – As many as eight dacoits fled the scene after looting Rs 1,60,00,000 from a private bank in Khanewal today (Saturday).
According to details, robbers stormed the bank at 8 am and looted Rs 1,60,00,000 on gun point. The suspects also assaulted bank staffers and escaped from the scene after half an hour.
On getting the information about the incident, police personnel besieged the entire area and launched an investigation into the matter.
The officers stated that the bandits were on bikes and cars while the on-duty policemen have also been alerted for the early detention of the criminals.
