DUBAI (Web Desk) - The much-anticipated India-Pakistan clash at the T20 Asia Cup 2025 is set for Sunday, September 14, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Yet, in a surprising turn, organisers have been forced to slash ticket prices amid slower-than-expected sales.

Standard tickets, initially priced at 475 dirhams, have now been reduced to 350 dirhams following widespread fan complaints over affordability. Premium enclosures, typically the first to sell out, remain sparsely booked, with many seats still unsold less than a week before the match.

Officials admitted surprise at the sluggish response, given the fixture’s reputation as one of the most-watched sporting events worldwide.

India heads into the contest riding high after a dominant nine-wicket win against the UAE, dismissing the hosts for just 57 and chasing the target in 4.3 overs. Pakistan, meanwhile, will begin their campaign against Oman on Friday at the same venue before locking horns with their arch-rivals.

Historically, India has dominated the rivalry in T20Is, winning 10 of 13 matches against Pakistan.
