NEW DELHI (Dunya News) – The Indian Supreme Court on Thursday rejected the petition seeking cancellation of the Pakistan-India match in the Asia Cup.

The court observed that “It’s just a match — let it remain a match.”

The judge remarked the match was scheduled for Sunday; nothing can be done at this point. The match should go ahead.

A bench comprising Justice J.K. Maheshwari and Justice Vijay Bishnoi declined to hear the petition.

The first group match between Pakistan and India in the Asia Cup 2025 is scheduled to be held on September 14 in Dubai. It will be the first encounter between the two neighbouring countries after May military conflict.
