RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pakistan is all set to take on New Zealand in the first game of the five match T20I series at the Pindi Cricket Stadium here on Thursday (today).
Rawalpindi will host first three matches of the series while remaining two matches will be played in Lahore.
Captains Babar Azam and Michael Bracewell took part in pre-series photoshoot followed by press conferences on Wednesday. The trophy was unveiled before the training session. Later, both the teams held practice sessions.
The New Zealand team landed in the capital on Sunday to play the series against Pakistan. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials welcomed the team at the airport from where they were driven to a hotel amid high security.
The teams held training sessions at the stadium on Tuesday and Wednesday.
