Appointment of Zaka Ashraf as chairman PCB has been challenged in LHC.

The plea has been taken in the application filed against induction of Zaka Ashraf that international cricket council has framed its own laws under which no appointment of any kind can be made in cricket board on political basis and every appointment will be made on merit.On the other hand appointment of PCB chairman has been made on political grounds. Therefore, law of International Cricket Council (ICC) be applied to PCB and all the appointments be made under this rule, petition said, according to a local news agency report.Zaka Ashraf be restrained from performing duty as chairman PCB unless ICC laws are implemented, said the petitioner.The court while adjourning the hearing of the case has sought reply from the federal government.
