(Web Desk) –The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has yet to release the final schedule of the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 which irk different countries cricket boards, media reported.
The mega event is just two months away but the BCCI has not released the final schedule so far.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) board members are also not happy as the BCCI has not initiated the process of selling the tickets, media reports.
It is pertinent to mention that tickets for the T20 World Cup 2022 held in Australia were available six months before the event.
Media sources said the commercial department of the ICC is also not happy with BCCI as it scheduled India vs New Zealand match in Dharamshala. The ICC department believes that such a big match should not be held in a small stadium.
The BCCI secretary, Jay Shah hinted that plan of some matches would be revised, due to religious festivals in India.
