Kiwis to arrive in Pakistan for two Tests, three ODIs
KARCHI (Web Desk) – After England Test series, Pakistan is set to host new guests as New Zealand Cricket team will arrive in Pakistan on Thursday for two Test matches and three One-Day Internationals (ODIs).
First Test match between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played from Dec 26 while both the face teams will face each other in Multan for second Test from Jan 3 to 7. The ODIs will be played in Karachi and first ODI match will be played on Jan 10. Second and third matches will be played on Jan 12 and 14 consecutively.
The sources say that few changes will be made in the Pakistan Test squad after a humiliating white wash by the hands of recent visitors England. The English team have done a clean sweep against hosts in the three-match Test series.
Earlier, the New Zealand cricket team had called off its tour of Pakistan, minutes before the first match was due to begin in Rawalpindi in Sep 2021, citing security concerns. Later, the New Zealand board had agreed for the tour after Australian team visited Pakistan.
