West Indies picked several uncapped players in the two 15-man squads.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – West Indies on Friday announced a squad for Pakistan tour to play three Twenty20 Internationals and three one-day internationals, Dunya News reported.

Kieron Pollard will lead the West Indies side in both formats. The West Indies six-match tour runs from 13-22 December and all matches will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi.

The Windies, who failed to reach the T20 World Cup semi-finals, picked several uncapped players in the two 15-man squads, including batsmen Justin Greaves and Shamarh Brooks, spinner Gudakesh Motie and all-rounder Odean Smith.

"There are a number of talented newcomers in each format that will have the opportunity to show what they are capable of at the international level," said chief selector Roger Harper.

"The ODIs in Pakistan are part of the ICC ODI Super League where points gained work towards qualification for the ICC World Cup 2023. So these ODI s are very important to us and are being treated as such."

The visitors will play three T20s and three one-day internationals against Pakistan starting on December 13 in what will be the first visit by a foreign country since England and New Zealand pulled out of scheduled tours this year for security reasons.
