PCB issues instructions for spectators of Independence Cup
Spectators will not be allowed to enter the stadium without their CNICs
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued instructions regarding spectators of the Independence Cup at Gaddafi stadium, Lahore. According to details, spectators wouldn’t be able to enter the Gaddafi stadium without their computerized national identity cards (CNIC), reported Dunya News.
Moreover, spectators are also not allowed to bring water bottles and food alongside. People who will come to watch the cricket match are also barred from bringing weapons of any kind, knives and other dangerous material such as match box, lighter and other inflammable material.
Security has been beefed up around the stadium and security officials are also placed inside the stands. Moreover, shuttle service will be available to travel from the parking area to the ground. Earlier, Faf du Plesis had appreciated the security given by the government of Pakistan after the World XI squad reached Lahore in the small hours of Monday morning.
