Shaun Tait gets Indian nationality

Tait who played a vital role in Australia’s World Cup 2007 victory started dating an Indian model named Mashoom Singha in 2010 while playing for Rajasthan Royals in Indian Premier League. The couple dated for four years and tied nuptial knot in 2014.

The ceremony was attended by Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan. Tait s now holds a dual citizenship; that of Australia and India.
Tait retired from Test career in 2008 and from One-Day International in 2011. The last match he played was a Twenty20 in January 2016 against India.
