Mudassar Nazar eager to improve cricket infrastructure in Pakistan

Mudassar Nazar revealed that academies in Karachi and Multan are under construction.

LAHORE (Web Desk) - Head of Cricket Development Mudassar Nazar said that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given him free hand to furnish the skills of young players for the better future of cricket in the country.

Talking exclusively to Daily Dunya, Mudassar Nazar said that he is focusing on formation of different academies for the improvement of infrastructure.

We will be launching proper development program in January by establishing training centers throughout the country, he added.
He said that long-duration camps would also be arranged for the players of under-13 and Pakistan A teams.

Mudassar Nazar said that a one-month training session for under-16 boys will be started in coming week for which 32 players have been selected from 14 regions.

The experienced coaches of National Cricket Academy would train the players and will also boost their morale and confidence, he said.

The official revealed that academies in Karachi and Multan are under construction while Rawalpindi will also have a well-developed center soon.
