Pakistan cricket team leave for England

The series starting from July 14 would include four tests, five ODIs, and one T20.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan team have departed for England from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, reported on Saturday.

According to details, the team will play series under captain Misbah-ul-Haq while as many as nine officials including team manager Intikhab Alam and coach Mickey Arthur are also accompanying the players.

Sources told that green shirts are visiting England first time after spot-fixing scandal whereas Mohammad Amir was seen hopeful of his best performance and took selfies in the plane.

A training camp would also be arranged in England for the players while they also got lectures regarding future tours at Lahore’s National Cricket Academy.

The series starting from July 14 would be comprised of four tests, five one-day internationals, and one Twenty20.

Team manager Alam said that the message is clear for all the players and that is there will be no compromise on discipline and zero tolerance.

"Amir will have to follow strict code of conduct which stops him from meeting people and focus on cricket," said Alam, who praised Amir’s conduct.

On the other hand, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has launched a campaign regarding noble prize for Abdul Sattar Edhi for serving humanity.

Rs 1 million cheque was also granted to Edhi foundation. PCB chief Shehryar Khan also gifted Pakistan Cricket Team shirt to Edhi and revealed that team will play in England with logo of Edhi Foundation on their shirts.
