Arthur will take charge as head coach prior to the start of Pakistan team's tour of England
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has selected former South African cricketer Mickey Arthur as the head coach of the Pakistani team, reported Dunya News.
Arthur will take charge as head coach prior to the start of Pakistan team’s tour of England. He was a strong contestant among other names shortlisted by the PCB, which included Stuart Law, Andy Moore and Arthur himself.
Prior to Arthur’s appointment, Waqar Younis served as the team’s coach. He resigned from his post on the account of the criticism he had to face after the poor performance shown by the side in the ICC World T20 2016 that was played in India.
