Women's World T20: Pakistan to face Bangladesh today

NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – Confident Pakistan women cricket team all set to play against Bangladesh in International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s World Twenty20 at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium today (Thursday).

The match will start at 7pm (PST).

The green shirts are enthusiastic in winning the game for the Pakistani cricket lovers while the injured Javeria Khan who fractured her thumb as she was struck by a bouncer from pacer Shamilia Connell in the first over of the chase against West Indies has been dropped from the squad.

Earlier, Pakistani Women’s side was able to defeat Indian by 2 runs through the Duckworth-Lewis (D/L) method in a rain affected match played at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium.

Indian women were able to put a total of 96 runs on the board at a loss of 7 wickets against the Pakistani women who opted to bowl first after winning the coin toss in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women World Twenty20 fixture at Delhi.

Rain badly affected the match and it had to be called off. Pakistan Women were 2 runs ahead of the required total according to the D/L method hence winning the match.
