Australia will play an as yet to be decided opponent in quarter-final at the Adelaide Oval on Mar 20

HOBART (AFP) - Australia captain Michael Clarke won the toss and elected to field against Scotland in the World Cup Pool A match at Hobart s Bellerive Oval on Saturday.

This was the last group match for both sides, with four-time champions and tournament co-hosts Australia already through to the quarter-finals, with the winless Scots no longer able to advance into the knockout stages.

Australia will play an as yet to be decided opponent in a quarter-final at the Adelaide Oval on March 20.

For this match, they recalled paceman Pat Cummins in place of spinner Xavier Doherty in the only change to the side that beat Sri Lanka by 64 runs in Sydney last week.

Meanwhile Clarke was passed fit after missing training on Thursday to manage his longstanding hamstring injury.
