Cricket: Pakistan put India into bat in Asia Cup

Today's match is a do-or-die match for both India and Pakistan.

DHAKA (Dunya News) - Pakistani captain Misbahul Haq won the toss and put India into bat in the sixth match of the Asia Cup in Dhaka.

Since both the teams have lost one game out of two, it makes it a do-or -die match for them in the two-week long event. Interestingly, both the teams have lost their respective matches against Sri Lanka in close encounters.

Since the World Cup semi-final in 2011, India and Pakistan have played just five one-day internationals and three Twenty20 matches against each other, mostly in multi-nation events.

Their most recent meeting was in the Champions Trophy last June when India won a rain-affected match in Birmingham by eight wickets and went on to win the tournament.
