Ajmal climbs up to No 3 in ranking
Saeed Ajmal has regained 3rd position following a 10-wicket haul Test against South Africa.
KARACHI (Online) - Pakistan’s Younis Khan has been ranked amongst the top ten batsmen in test cricket following his ton in the last match against South Africa, according to latest rankings released by the International Cricket Council.
Khan is ranked at ninth position while Hashim Amla of South Africa is the top test batsman.
Asad Shafiq, who also scored a century against the South Africa, has been rated amongst the top twenty batsmen for the first time. He is currently ranked at 16th.
Amongst the top test bowlers, Pakistan’s Saeed Ajmal has regained his 3rd position following a 10-wicket haul in the last test while South African D Steyn has been ranked as number one bowler.
Overall, Pakistan team is placed at 4th position in the team test ranking while South Africa is at number one position.
