WHANGAREI: A New Zealand XI beat England by three wickets in a tight finish to their second Twenty20 warm-up game on Wednesday.
England, who won the first game by 46 runs, made 170 for five in their 20 overs. The New Zealand side replied with 171-7, with the winning runs coming from a boundary off the final ball of their innings.
The opening T20 international between England and New Zealand takes place in Auckland on Saturday.
