Sachin completes 34,000 runs

KOLKATA: Sachin Tendulkar on Wednesday created yet another record in his illustrious career when he completed 34,000 runs in international cricket, during the first day s play between India and England in the third Test at the Eden Gardens.
Tendulkar achieved the milestone in his 193rd Test appearance for India in his 23-years long career.
Tendulkar fought hard for his unbeaten 46 before tea, as India reached 172 for four.
The 39-year-old cricketer has been under heavy criticism for not deciding on his future, as the talks being fuelled by his poor run in the international circuit.
