LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Punjab government has accelerated preparations for the launch of its new airline, Air Punjab, with key appointments and recruitment processes now underway.

Officials said the government has decided to bring on board senior staff for critical positions, including the airline’s head and other top management roles. Advertisements have been issued for the posts of Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, and Chief Financial Officer.

In addition, openings for Head of Human Resources and Company Secretary have also been announced. Interested candidates have been given until December 10 to submit their applications, marking a major step forward in operationalizing the airline.

The move signals that the government is serious about getting the airline off the ground and establishing a strong leadership team to steer the company forward. Officials expect that once the team is in place, Air Punjab will begin commercial operations soon, providing new connectivity options across the province.
