Gold prices hold steady in global and local markets, silver ticks up

Gold prices remained unchanged internationally and in Pakistan, holding steady across all categories. Silver, however, rose by Rs55 per tola, reflecting a minor upward trend in the local market.
KARACHI (Dunya News) — Gold prices held their ground both internationally and in Pakistan on Monday, while silver prices inched up, giving the bullion market a slight shake-up.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold stayed unchanged at $4,083 per ounce, showing that global demand has largely stayed on the same track.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola remained stable at Rs430,662, with 10 grams priced at Rs369,223, also unchanged.
Traders said the market is currently playing it safe, with buyers waiting for clearer signals.
On the other hand, silver prices went up by Rs55 per tola, reaching Rs5,368, giving investors another option to look into as precious metal trends shift slightly.
