Ogra jacks up LNG prices by 6.49pc

The per mmbtu price has been increased by $0.80 for the Sui Northern system
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Friday announced 6.49 percent increase in prices of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) for May 2024.
The regulatory body has issued a notification in this regard. The LNG price was increased by 0.86 dollar per mmbtu.
The per mmbtu price has been increased by $0.80 for the Sui Northern system, fixing the new price at $13.74 per mmbtu.
For Sui Sothern system, the LNG price has been increased by $0.86 per mmbtu to $14.05. The new prices will be implemented with immediate effect.
