DRAP's Policy Board will review the prices again after three months
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Drug Regulatory Authority (DRAP) issued a notification regarding an increase in the prices of medicines on Friday.
According to the notification, the prices of life-saving medicines rose by 14% increase, while prices of all other medicines soared by 20% increase.
The approval for the medicines price hike was issued after the Federal Cabinet's Economic Advisory Committee’s nod, moreover DRAP's Policy Board will review the prices again after three months.
DRAP officials said that in case of decrease in the dollar prices, the relief will be conveyed to public by decrease in medicines prices.
