Decline in value of rupee, OGRA ask oil companies to provide details of loses

The move came out after the increase of oil prices in International markets

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) asked Oil companies for the details of their losses due to the decline in value of rupee.

OGRA have asked the Oil companies for details of last six months, whereas the Oil marketing companies were asked to submit records of last two weeks.

According to the sources, OGRA said, the import prices of oil by the companies should be equivalent to the prices in International markets. The companies should ensure the imports according to the advised policy of government to avoid loss.
