FBR extends dates for tax returns

Federal Board of Revenue extended date for submission of excise duty and sales tax returns.

According to a statement issued from Islamabad, returns for July and August 2011 can be submitted till September 26 and Inland Revenue wing has informed all the chief commissioners of LTUs and IOs in this regard. The extension in date has been made under section 74 of the Sales Tax Act 1990 and section 43 of the Federal Excise Act 2005.
