Dollar continues to gain ground against PKR

KARACHI (Dunya News) –The US dollar continues to gain ground against the Pakistani rupee on Tuesday after a fresh appreciation.
According to details, the local currency depreciated by 82 paisa against the greenback which closed at Rs219.71. The rupee had closed at Rs218.89 on Monday, according to Pakistan’s central bank data.
However, despite the depreciation, the rupee has cumulatively recovered by Rs20.23 from its record low of Rs239.94 against the dollar.
