Dollar snaps losing streak against PKR, recovers by 21 paisa

The local currency depreciated by 21 paisa.

KARACHI (Dunya News) –The US dollar finally snapped its losing streak against the Pakistani rupee on Wednesday after a fresh appreciation.

According to details, the local currency depreciated by 21 paisa against the greenback and was being traded around at Rs218. The rupee had closed at Rs217.79 on Tuesday, according to Pakistan’s central bank data.

However, despite the depreciation, the rupee has cumulatively recovered by Rs21.94 from its record high of Rs239.94.
