NEPRA reduces electricity prices by 99 paisas per unit
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Thursday reduced the prices of electricity by 99 paisas per unit.
According to the issued notification by NEPRA, the electricity prices were reduced with reference to the last quarter adjustment of Fiscal Year 2021.
The reduction in the price of electricity will be put in effective from February 1, 2022 while the consumers will be able to acquire a relief of Rs 22.48 billion.
According to the notification, the reduction in relief will be available for three months and the implications will not apply to Lifeline, Protected and K-Electric customers.
