Foreign exchange reserves increase by US$ 35 million: SBP

A week after the budget was announced, the foreign exchange reserves increased by US$ 35 million.

According to the state bank of Pakistan, in the second week on June, the foreign exchange reserves of the country increased by two percent to a total of US$ 17 billion and 517.9 million.During the same period, the recovers of the state bank increased by US$ 359.3 million to a total of US$ 14 billion and 85.9 million. In commercial banks sustained a loss of US$ 5.9 million and plummeted to US$ 3 billion and 470 million.
