Karachi stock market resumes upward trend

Stock market resumed upward trend as KSE-100 index crossed psychological barrier of 12,000 points.

The week started bearish in the market but it transformed into a bullish trend after just one day.Oil sector remained active due to investment by foreigners and a likely increase in POL prices.At the last working day of the week the index closed at 12,158 points after an increase of 104 points. The trading volume also remained 66 percent up, 522.6 million shares.
