(Web Desk) - Punjab Agriculture Department (PAD) has advised paddy growers to carry out pest scouting twice a week to control leaf curl virus, Radio Pakistan reported.

A spokesman for Agriculture Department Najaf Abbas said that attack of Leaf Curl Virus could increase on paddy crop during this month so farmers should stay vigilant.

He said that growers should seek guidance from Agriculture Department of their respective areas regarding selection of poisons.
