The rate of gold in local markets changed after hike in international market

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The price of gold escalated by Rs 700 per tola after the first week of 2018 to reach Rs 57,100, which is also the two-year high mark.

The price hike was seen in the local markets today. According to Sindh Sarafa Association (ASSA), the price increased by Rs 100 per tola.

Gold is now priced at 57,100 per tola. The price of 10 grams of Gold witnessed a hike of Rs 342 and became 48,942.

From the start of New Year 2018 on January 1 till now, gold price experienced spike of Rs 700/tola. In the international market, gold is rated at 1,321 per ounce after USD 17 hike.

The price of gold in the local market changed after successive alterations in the worldwide markets.

Gold was priced at Rs56,200 per tola and Rs48,171 per 10 grams during the last days of December, 2017. The rate was recorded highest in the last two years.
