Karachi: PSO resumes Furnace oil supply for WAPDA

After the Governments recommendations, Pakistan State Oil resumed supplying WAPDA with furnace oil. Supply to HUBCO and KESCO not restored.

Sources have told Dunya TV that upon the government’s recommendations, Pakistan State Oil has resumed supply of furnace oil to WAPDA. The supply of furnace oil has still not been restored to KESCO and HUBCO. The power sector still hasn’t paid a balance of 188 Billion Rupees and because of the nonpayment; PSO is at the risk of being Bankrupt. On the other hand, regarding the payment of the power sector, PSO MD is going to meet the Prime Minister today.
