State Bank of Pakistan has revoked the condition of identity card on the sale and purchase of capital less than $5,000.The Central Bank has issued directives to the exchange companies that the condition of ID card was still intact on $5,000; however, the small transactions are exempted from this.The main bank has ordered the exchange companies to keep record of all the transactions.According to sources, the annulling of such condition would help address the shortage of dollar in the open market.
