Foreign exchange reserves have surged by $ 967 million to reach $ 15542 billion on August 3.
According to report issued by the State Bank of Pakistan, countrys foreign exchange reserves have increased by $ 967 million to more than $ 15‚542 billion as on August 3‚2012 on receipt of $ 1.18 billion under Coalition Support Fund (CSF). The foreign exchange reserves held by the Central Bank climbed to $ 11.089 billion while reserves held by banks improved to about $ 4.453 billion during the week.
