OGRA has proposed decrease in the petroleum prices. A decrease of rupees one to rupees three is proposed in the summary. Sources said that the Petroleum Ministry has forwarded the price decrease proposal to the Prime Minister House. The new prices will be implemented after the formal approval of the PM from August 01. The summary says that following sustenance in oil prices in international market, petroleum prices should be reduced. Sources said that petrol prices will be reduced from two to three rupees while diesel prices will be reduced one rupee and kerosene oil prices are likely to be reduced two rupees per liter.
