TEHRAN (Dunya News) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has claimed that the Israeli lobby is exerting growing influence over US policy toward Iran.
In a statement posted on X, Araghchi alleged that the Israeli lobby was pressing Washington to prioritize Israel’s interests in shaping its policy toward Iran.
He said the time had come for US policy to be freed from what he described as Israeli pressure.
According to Araghchi, there were calls for the United States to bear the consequences of even minor actions taken against Israel.
The Israel lobby is getting less shy about its grip on U.S. policy toward Iran. In Miriam Adelson’s publication, the Lobby's loudspeaker says U.S. policy must ensure America pays a price for any slight against Israel.

The Iranian foreign minister further called on Washington to break free from what he described as the “chains” of Israeli pressure.
Araghchi’s remarks come amid continued tensions between Iran, Israel and the United States, with disagreements over regional security and Iran’s nuclear programme remaining key issues in relations among the three countries.
Iranian officials have repeatedly criticized Washington’s approach toward Tehran and accused the United States of aligning its regional policies with Israeli interests.
