TEHRAN (Dunya News) - Iranian Parliament Speaker Bagher Ghalibaf has warned the United States that any hostile action against Iran would trigger an immediate, severe and painful response.
Ghalibaf said the era of limited and measured retaliation was over, warning Washington that it must understand there would be a price for any move that harmed Iran’s interests or security.
The Iranian parliament speaker said any action targeting Iran’s interests or national security would be met with a strong response.
Earlier, it was reported that American forces struck three Iranian crude oil tankers after Iran launched ballistic missiles at two US Navy ships.
No American personnel were harmed, the US Central Command said.

Meanwhile, Iranian Brigadier General Mohammad Sadeghian has claimed that Iran’s air defence forces targeted as many as 370 US aircraft and drones during the war.
Sadeghian said Iran’s air defence systems successfully targeted aircraft and drones, disproving the enemy’s assessments of the country’s defensive capabilities.
He further claimed that several US aircraft and drones were shot down.
According to the Iranian brigadier general, Iran had strengthened its air defence systems ahead of the second war, enhancing its ability to counter aerial threats.
