TEHRAN (Dunya News) - Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a telephone conversation with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, saying Tehran does not seek instability in the region and blaming US and Israeli actions for undermining regional peace and stability.
Pezeshkian said US and Israeli attacks had resulted in the deaths of Iran’s Supreme Leader, civilians and children at a school in Minab.
He also accused the attacks of destroying civilian infrastructure.
The Iranian president said Tehran had not taken any action outside the framework of international law and had consistently sought to improve relations with neighbouring countries.
Pezeshkian said Iran’s adversaries were seeking to undermine the Islamic system by creating internal divisions.

He described the current confrontation as more complicated than previous conflicts, saying the objective was to create unrest and instability inside Iran.
“We must move forward with a clear mission and focus on specific objectives,” Pezeshkian said, stressing the importance of maintaining public support.
He warned that alienating the Iranian people would have damaging consequences.
Meanwhile, the EU and 26 countries condemned Iran's executions of protesters in a joint statement, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said on Wednesday.
The countries called on Iran to listen to its people, take meaningful steps toward ensuring respect for human rights, immediately end use of the death penalty and release those arbitrarily detained.
