TEHRAN (Dunya News) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held separate telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of Oman and Turkiye to discuss the regional situation and the latest developments concerning the Strait of Hormuz, Iran's Foreign Ministry said.

According to the ministry, Araghchi warned both counterparts that Iran reserves the right to respond if the United States carries out any further military action against the country.

He said Iran remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security, stressing that any act of aggression would be met with an appropriate response.

Araghchi also accused Washington of violating the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, alleging that the United States had abandoned its commitments and adopted a confrontational policy that could further escalate tensions across the region.

The Iranian foreign minister emphasized that continued diplomatic engagement and responsible regional action are essential to preventing further instability, calling for intensified efforts to preserve peace and reduce tensions in the Middle East.
