ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has termed his visit to Pakistan as highly productive.
In a statement on social media platform X regarding his visit, Araghchi said that Pakistan’s brotherly efforts for peace in the region are commendable.
He added that during meetings with Pakistan, Iran presented a practical framework aimed at the permanent end of war.
The Iranian foreign minister also clarified Iran’s stance on ending the ongoing conflict, stating that it remains to be seen whether the United States is genuinely serious about diplomacy.

Araghchi further said that Iran prioritizes diplomatic channels for sustainable peace in the region.
He appreciated Pakistan’s peace efforts and noted that consultations are ongoing to reduce tensions in the region.
Earlier, Iranian foreign minister departed Islamabad on Saturday evening, concluding his official visit to Pakistan after a series of high-level engagements with the country’s civilian and military leadership.
According to diplomatic sources, Araghchi and his delegation left from Nur Khan Airbase for Muscat, the capital of Oman.
Senior Pakistani officials, along with Iran’s ambassador and embassy representatives, were present at the airport to see off the visiting delegation.
The Iranian foreign minister is expected to continue his diplomatic tour with further visits, including a planned trip to Moscow, where meetings with Russian officials are anticipated.
