Irate UK doctor sent on forced leave for snubbing PM

The doctor who confronted David Cameron and Nick Clegg has been sent on forced leave.

A British orthopaedic surgeon David Nunn ranted at British Prime Minister David Cameron and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg for bringing journalists who had not scrubbed their hands or rolled up their sleeves into the sterile ward on June 14.Nunn, 57 said: “Excuse me, I’m the senior orthopaedic surgeon in this department. Why is it that we’re all told to walk around like this and these people ... I’m not having it.”Cameron, who was also with Health Secretary Andrew Lansley, immediately asked his aides and the journalists to leave the ward.Avenging his humiliation, the British prime minister sent the doctor on forced leave.
