'Her Story, Our Story': Google doodle celebrates Women's Day

(Web Desk) – This International Women s Day, Google is celebrating the stories and voices of everyday women living across the world through visual stories featured on its Google Doodle.

The global interactive Doodle dedicates for March 8 has featured 12 female artists from various backgrounds, ranging from illustration artists to street artists, sharing their personal stories in a series of visual narratives.

These captivating stories have themes designed and visually narrated by women from all over the world.

Doodle stories include, “Nov 1989”, “Ages and Stages”, “My Aunt Blossoms”, “The Box”, “Aarthi the Amazing”, “Ntsoaki’s Victory”, “Up on the Roof”, “Love”, “Trust”, “Homeland”, “Minutes” and “Inwards”.

These stories represent a moment, person, or event that has impacted their lives as women. Each story has its own unique theme, with a wide range of its universality many can relate to these stories.

Google Doodle creators write on their website, “We hope that the combined power of words and images help bring these stories to life in a way that invokes feelings of understanding, empathy, and spirit of the day.”

The creators have said that these stories have moved them by the candour, intimacy and bravery of the story contributors.

All stories included have been translated from over 80 languages. "We hope that readers will go about their day feeling as inspired as we do.”

The Doodle team has also encouraged people to write and share more of their incredible stories, moments by posting it with a hashtag ‘#HerStoryOurStory’.

This year, the Doodle s reach is in over a 100 countries
