Summary The latest of Modi's famous hugs came during Indian premier's six-day tour of four states

(Web Desk) – Indian premier Narendra Modi’s awkward hugs to leaders of the world on sidelines of international summits and state-level visits have made headlines multiple times but this time, Indian PM s hug advances seem to have been validated during Russia visit.

The latest of Modis famous hugs came during Indian premier’s six-day tour of France, Russia, Germany and Spain.

Whilst Modi convened a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin last week, he apparently did not have any qualms to make about Modis advance, unlike Modis experiences with world leaders earlier.

With the latest Modi hug surfacing on the Internet, many deciphered it to be a comfortable moment  for the two leaders unlike the potential faux pas of previous years.

In 2015, former POTUS Barack Hussein Obama landed in India on a three-day visit and it looked as if Modi had premeditated the hug that the then US president didn’t see coming.

That was not it as Obama braced himself for another ‘Modi grab’ after a press talk following the talks between the two states. Only, this time Obama was prepared for the breach of personal space and had understood that Indian premier was a hugger.

Clearly Mark Zuckerberg tops the list of the people who had not seen what they were in for.

Even Mukesh Ambani was like, I think this is unnecessary Mr. CM (At the time Modi was the Chief Minister)

We understand the display of mutual love here but that naturally is out of cultural and geographic proximity. Modi paid a surprise visit to Pakistan on PM Nawazs birthday on December 25, 2015

Closing it off on a pleasant note; the only person who looked more enthusiastic than Modi for the hug was Hugh Jackman. In his defence, Jackman has always been open to public display of affection, be it his co-stars, fans or world leaders.
