WEB DESK (Dunya News) - U.S. President Donald Trump is planning to host his Chinese counterpart President Xi Jinping at his Florida Mar-a-Lago resort next month.

The U.S. online media outlet Axios revealed that the planned meeting will be held at a two-day summit next month.

It has also been reported that the two-day meeting has been scheduled for April 6-7.

Although the news about the proposed visit could not be clarified as White House and Chinese authorities haven’t revealed anything so far in connection to the matter.

It is pertinent here to mention that the Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi visited Washington last month. During his visit, the Chinese leader discusses the economic ties and security interests of the two countries.

Moreover, Yang met separately with Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson during his visit.
