WEB DESK (Dunya News) – The Indian community within the United States that until now considered Trump’s America’s as safe haven had woken up to a new wave of racist attacks.

The community members are aggrieved over the racist attacks as they have decided to come together at Washington DC for a candle-light vigil in order to mourn the victims of the Kansas shooting.

It is worth mentioning here that a Kansas man open fired at a bar in the city of Olathe that resulted in the killing of 32-year-old Srinivas Kuchibhotla as one of one of his colleague, 32-year-old Alok Madasani was also injured in the shoot-out.

The organizers of the candle vigil revealed that security permission have already been sought for the event.

The hosts of the vigil also revealed that the purpose of organizing the event is express solidarity against the hate crimes, Islamophobia, and Xenophobia.
