LAHORE: (Web Desk) – An old Coke ad has yet again gained prominence over the social media during the last few days. In 2014, Coke had created an ad highlighting the inclusive character of the American society. Though criticised by the Alt+Right even at that time, the advertisement has suddenly gained relevance in the wake of Trump’s presidency.
The ad was actually created three years back in view of the Super Bowl contest that year. It had been attacked then by the right-wing White supremacists when first played too but after the election of Donald Trump to the White House and his recent move to ban the entry of people from seven Muslim countries into America, the ad has actually become more relevant today.

The ad is a beautiful mixture of lines sung in various different languages that the people living in America speak in their native countries. There are Muslims, Indians, Africans, Jewish, Chinese and Japanese people in the ad who are singing the song in their native languages.
The liberal American citizens have termed this ad as portraying ‘the real America’ and in stark contrast with what they call as ‘absurd fantasy put forth by Republican politicians’.
